Wakulla Schools Provide Quality Education

Wakulla County School District's purpose is to give a rigorous and appropriate education that results in success for all students.

Wakulla County Schools, both private and public, are exceptional schools because of the strong support from a community that puts their children's education as their top priority.

For seven years in a row, Wakulla County School District earned enough points to be graded an "A".  Wakulla was the only district in the Big Bend to be rated "A", meeting the challenges of tougher state standards and higher cut scores for 2011-2012.

Wakulla County not only offers an outstanding public school system, but the county offers other learning alternatives for all children to reach their educational goals.   These schools are the C.O.A.S.T Charter School, Providence Christian, and Wakulla Christian School.

Wakulla County is located just minutes away from top colleges in our state.  Florida State University, Tallahassee Community Colleges, Lively Vocational Technical, Florida A & M University are all just minutes away from Wakulla County, therefore, saving many parents the cost of housing for their college bound student.
